A Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving for Those Who Have Died Sunday 3rd November at 4.00pm.

All Souls’ Day is known liturgically as the Commemoration of All Faithful Departed and is used to remember those known to us who have died or are dying. This year to make this service available to as many people as possible, it will take place on Sunday 3rd November at 4pm.
Last year was the first time we celebrated All Souls’ Day in a separate evening service, and it proved to be very meaningful and supportive.
It is a short reflective service with music and the church lights are dimmed, giving an opportunity to light candles for those whom we are remembering.
Those attending this service will be invited upon arrival to write the name(s) of people known to them who have died on the paper provided which will be read out during the service. This will be a very personal aspect of our worship as we specifically remember those who have died.
Everyone is welcome to join us for this most poignant service.
