Lent Mid-week Services

Throughout this penitential season of Lent, there will be a short series of midweek services each Wednesday at 8pm.
The former Bishop of Connor, The Rt. Revd Alan Abernethy commenced this series of sermons on Ash Wednesday when he preached on the importance of “Silence”. By way of Introduction to all these services he writes: “So much of our lives are about being busy and talking to or at God. Prayer begins and ends in silence as we learn to rest in God and listen to the “gentle whisper”.
We look forward to welcoming Bishop Abernethy back for two of the midweek services this month.
This will be an opportunity for us to come together in the middle of our busy weekly schedules to pause and reflect on our Christian faith. I encourage you to join us for these devotional services. Please note the dates in your diary:
